Re: How big are shelties meant to get

Leo is about 19 pounds now at 18 months of age. We have met a few other shelties in our travels and it is amazing at how much they vary in size. He is still smaller than most we have met. Another interesting thing we have noticed with Leo is that he seems to be able to tell the difference between sh...

Re: New Here!

Hi!! I'm Sarah and I have just one Sheltie (hoping to adopt another one into our small family soon). His name is Leo and he is almost 18 months old. He is so much fun and a big part of our family. Hope you enjoy the site :D

Walking backwards

Leo has been walking backwards since he was a puppy. He has gotten so good at it he can even walk backwards around corners. Is this something anyone else's sheltie does or is it just Leo being odd?

Re: Sheltie burps...

Leo burps a lot too - it cracks me up every time. Asked the vet about it and they said it was nothing to be concerned over. Leo is a male so I just put it down to him being a boy haha

The extremely happy Leo

Does anyone find that their sheltie has a recurring funny face in photos? I have about 20 photos of Leo with the same expression which is just hilarious.

Re: We have a biter!

Ah Zoomies!! Leo does that every night about 6:30pm too and then again at about 10pm when it's bed time. He loves it although he took himself out on the outside sliding door the other day which he didn't realise was shut (luckily he is okay, just frightened him more than anything).

Re: Sheltie "Chance" from Newark, Delaware

I am working on my Fiance to get another one (Leo needs a friends - or two). Unfortunately he hasn't fallen prey to Potato Chip Syndrome like I have.
