I was quite surprised by how narrow a Sheltie's rib cage is... I hold Piper's rib cage in my hands and just wonder how he fits all his vital organs in there!! If your puppy Bandit has had at least one trip to the vet then I'm sure they would have picked up on anything abnormal then.
