Leo in the snow

Post by BetzA » Thu Feb 28, 2013 10:15 pm

We got hit with a lot of wet snow over night, so I thought I would expose Leo to it. He loved playing in it (eating it), but he got cold fast so I brought him inside not long after. We changed his name from Meco to Leo, it suits him better. He is growing fast, he is now 9 weeks old. :)

What a sweetie. My kids will never see snow.. We live in the central part of Florida. It is fun to watch them do their nose dozer impressions too. When he gets older he'll be able to stay out longer. But watch for those dreaded sheltie snow balls in the pads of the feet...

My three love the snow but we don't get a lot now in the Niagara area. They think it is a big bowl of ice cream. As Judy mentioned, watch for the snow balls inbetween the pads of the feet. I keep the fur clipped short and this helps.

Judy, we were thinking about moving to Florida, we love the beach and warm weather, and I think were just going to buy him little boots when he's older.

Ronna that's what Leo thought too, he really liked eating it, and we will cut the fur on his feet.
